Glas-Denbury Music Festiva

Glas-Denbury The Lower House, West street, Denbury, Devon TQ12 6DP

Glas-Denbury is a family friendly music festival in a beautiful Devon setting. The team are passionate about creating a little piece of magic for you whether you are a seasoned festival addict or are just dipping your toes in the festival scene!
We want everyone to let their hair down and have one of the happiest times ever when they come to Glas-Denbury. We may not be the biggest festival out there but we do have the biggest heart and the most passion about what we are striving to create for you. What we can promise you is that we handpick some of the South West’s best artists and bands, giving a platform to them that they may not have had before, whilst also bringing in fabulous and quirky artists from further afield to entertain and surprise you!
We enjoy breaking the boundaries between audience and performers as it is ultimately the artists and the audience that create the festival – we just stage it!

2015 had children’s entertainment, poetry and activities such as the climbing wall, inflatables, craft workshops, theatre groups, hula workshops throughout the day. Whether you are a family with young children, a family with teenagers, or a group of adults who just want to leave the children at home and come and party, then there really is something for you all.
The Main arena has bars stocked with real ale & cider at reasonable prices, and our “Butterfly Bazaar” hosts a great selection of high quality food stalls, with traders selling their fabulous wares, crafts and activities galore.

Our promise to you;
We will source the best of local talent and artists also from further afield, introducing you to things that may surprise and delight you along the way. We choose the best of the food we can, the most interesting and varied of traders and the most magical and entertaining of acts. We do rely on the traders and food stands, plus of course the drinks and bar, to fund the festival as well as the ticket sales. Alongside this we do try to keep the ticket prices down as much as we can, whilst ensuring that the festival covers it’s costs and we will strive to continue to do this to make it accessible for all. For us it is not about the money but about perfecting a little piece of heaven in the Devon sunshine for all to enjoy.
We are intent on keeping our little festival just that – small and intimate with a great atmosphere. We are still building the event, slowly and carefully, to create the perfect mix for everyone as much as we possibly can. It’s actually impossible to please everyone as we all know, but we will strive to ensure that whoever you are, whatever time you go and whichever stages you choose to see, you will come away with a sense of happiness and fulfilment, and a smile on your face!
So come join us in 2016 with all your family at our friendly little festival and dance in the daisies, sing in the sunshine and shake your glittery hips!
